Mary Kay Moloney leads the pack when it comes to technology
Here at Mary Kay Moloney, we always strive to be on the forefront of appraisal technology. We use the best and newest technology available today to complete your appraisal without sacrificing quality or accuracy.
These days, appraisals have become more demanding than ever before. Cutting corners on analysis isn't an option for an ethical appraiser. Therefore, the logical place to save time is in our daily workflow. We strive to be the very best, and we've found that using the very latest in new technology allows us to provide more comprehensive reports, quicker turnaround times and of course, the very best in customer service.
In the past, most of our orders arrived via fax and were confirmed with phone calls once we got back into the office. It might be hours before a client even knew if we could do the order. These days, when orders are entered on this website, we receive a text message on our phones. We often log into this site from the field and send back an e-mail confirmation – including the time and date for the inspection if we've been able to talk to the occupant.
Let Mary Kay Moloney show you how we innovate ordering appraisals
At Mary Kay Moloney we understand it's all about "cycle time". We aim to reduce waiting between communications since the speed at which we get things done directly effects your bottom-line. This website has proven to reduce cycle time for us and our clients by enhancing our communications.
Mary Kay Moloney believes in working smarter
One of the most time consuming parts of an appraisal is gathering the data. We spend quite a bit of time collecting the facts on the subject property and the local market data and trends. Mary Kay Moloney takes advantage of technology to close the gap once again.
Instead of using paper forms and pencils and then re-keying all the information back at the office, don't be surprised to see us with a tablet PC or collecting data using an application developed for our phones that even lets us sketch a floorplan right on the spot. And instead of using an old tape measure, we're seeing that more appraisers are utilizing laser measuring devices that are quicker, more accurate, and can get into places that normal tape measures have always had problems with.
All of this technology ensures that the final report is as complete and conclusive as possible, requiring fewer call-backs and revisions. Our goal is to save you time and money.
Modern appraisal report delivery ensures our clients have a number of ways to get their report
At a very minimum, you can expect us to deliver your final report electronically as a PDF. Most of our clients prefer e-mail because we're all accustomed to getting attachments like PDFs in our mail. It's a lot faster than the old days when everything was on paper. But, we've even been able to innovate how you receive your report with this website.
Ever lost a file that was sent to you? Or have you ever had an attachment blocked because it was too big? We have the technology to overcome those problems, too. When we deliver an appraisal through this website, the client is e-mailed a download link to retrieve the PDF. So, at that point, it doesn't matter if all the extra photos and maps in the report result in a large file that would normally be blocked by e-mail. And the download link is good for 90 days. So if you lose the file, you can log back in here and retrieve it again without even calling us or waiting for us to get to a computer so we can send it again.
Mary Kay Moloney simplifies things by using Digital Workfiles
It would probably be easier if appraisers could complete an assignment, deliver it and never worry about revisiting that document again. However, appraisals are used to document the condition of a property on the inspection date. Therefore, appraisers must keep their reports for 5 years in case any disputes or other matters arise regarding the property.
To sum it all up, Mary Kay Moloney uses all the technology at our disposal technology to improve service. We store every part of the appraisal - notes, sketches, supporting documentation and calculations - along with the appraisal electronically, we can pull up the entire file whenever it's needed and recall precisely what that report was about.
These are just a few examples of how we use technology daily. Using the right tools, along with the appraisal know-how that you've grown to expect allows the appraiser to save time without cutting corners and deliver a better product to you, our client.
